Ridge Energy Storage & Grid Services was formed to bring the value
of CAES to the commercial electricity marketplace. The principals of Ridge
Energy are seasoned energy professionals, with extensive experience managing
and overseeing the construction of power plants; operating power plants
for profitability in volatile markets; trading and transporting energy
commodities; financing complex energy projects; and permitting, siting,
and developing storage caverns. Before forming Ridge Energy, the principals
founded, financed, and managed energy companies with combined revenues
of over $1.0 billion, and they are now focusing this formidable base of
experience on the implementation of CAES technology.
Management
The Ridge Energy team combines operational,
financial, and technical excellence with an impressive legacy of entrepreneurial,
bottom-line success. From their involvement in the creation and management
of Destec and the founding and growth of National Gas & Electric,
L.P. (NG&E), as well as other ventures, the Ridge Energy principals
have established an impressive track record of return on investment.
Bob Casey, in addition to eight years of finance experience with Bear Stearns and private investment firms, founded and served as President of The Firebird Group, a Moscow based transport and logistics company.
Dine Glasgow co-founded
NG&E in 1988 and served as its President and CEO until 1997, growing
the energy trading company from a start-up to annual sales of $800 million.
Marjorie Glasgow co-founded NG&E, where she was responsible
for marketing and management development. During Marjorie's tenure, NG&E
grew to 120 employees with six offices nationwide.
